  Hi all, I posted this on the wordpress.org forums yesterday and haven’t gotten a response. Can anyone here recommend a free webhost with at least 2 gb of storage space and if there are any file size upload limits, they are higher than 40 mb? Did I mention a free webhost?

  Bob, I’ve never done much with free web hosting having heard quite a few horror stories over the years, but you might take a look at this that I found via a google search.

  In general, you get what you pay for with web hosting (although there are also cases where you do not get what you pay for too), so just keep that in mind, and always, always keep current backups of your installation just in case.

  You might also look at the Tiny shared hosting package at A Small Orange, which is only $25 per year with 150MB of storage and 4.5GB of bandwidth per month.

  I should mention that I’ve been with A Small Orange now for three years and have been quite happy with their service and support. Their technical support is hands down the best I’ve experienced with web hosting companies.

  Thanks all, I think I’ll set this as resolved. I am in contact with a webhost that a friend recommended to me after doing a google search.
