Weblinks in Misty Lake posts
-
Hi, in Misty Lake, some of my readers have complained that weblinks within posts do not have sufficient bolding or equivalent highlighting to stand out. Not sure if others have similar complaints but would appreciate you consider increasing the visibility of weblinks. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I took a look and everything is working properly. Your links are bold and dark green, easy to recognise.
You can ask is your readers also have this problem in a different browser: for example Firefox or Google Chrome.

Thanks for checking so quickly. I manually changed the last two posts to bold to have the desired impact. For how the template handles it, see the article summary post of January 12. I will check in the interim which browser the reader who flagged this was using. Thanks.

I checked. He has tried on a PC with Firefox and Internet Explorer, as well as with a Mac and Safari. Same issue.
Appreciate your help.

Could you send us a screenshot of the page where you’re seeing this? You can upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.

Hi, I have uploaded into my media files (Lymphoma Journey Screenshot). The contrast shows up better in the screenshot jpeg than live on the web however. Thanks.

I looked at the screenshot and having a hard time finding the exact issue here. You say that the weblinks within posts do not have sufficient bolding or equivalent highlighting to stand. I can actually clearly see the difference.
Note that you can control the appearance of your blog with a Custom Design upgrade:

Did you check the actual screen (Jan 12 post)? Not as clear as the screenshot. Misty Look had much more contrast.
-
The post of 12 January and the post prior to that have the standard link layout. The links in the newer posts were manually made bold, that’s why they are more clear.
-
I know – but some of my readers are commenting that the standard link layout doesn’t stand out enough – that is the issue I am signalling for WordPress to consider improving.
-
In that case I recommend either making the links bold manually, or use the Custom Design upgrade to adjust the appearance if your blog using CSS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
You can also switch to one of the many other themes at http://themes.wordpress.com
