Webmaster Tools
-
I bought the $99 package for the “The American Liberal Journal” blog and then went to verify it on Webmaster Tools. I did all the copying of the information like always and went into “Available Tools” and put the verification information in the appropriate box and clicked on verify and nothing happened. Webmaster was unable to verify my blog with the HTML that I had gotten from them and used–like I have a dozen times in the past.
There is a note on that thing that says the fact that I am not verified in Webmaster Tools will not affect my page rank or search engine results. If that is true, then there is no problem here.
Is that true? Do I have a Hundred Dollar problem here or will the bots go ahead and search my blog anyway?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is the process we WordPress.com bloggers must use to verify our blog ownership with the major search engines. http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
Also note the answer I posted in your other thread:

There is no problem here at all, provided the site is public and not private even if you don’t verify the site the search spiders will find it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/See here please as I provided a lengthy answer to your questions:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/will-my-newest-blog-be-seen?replies=4#post-895876P.S. the $99 you voluntarily chose to spend on upgrades have ZERO to do with any of this.
