Webmaster Tools & Verification not working for Bing, Baidu and Yandex

    I’ve successfully added a Google verification code and verified my site. I added it in SEO / General / Webmaster Tools rather than in my site’s header.

    However, I can’t get it to work with Bing, Baidu and Yandex.

    When I get the Meta tag from Bing and copy and paste it into the box on WordPress, and Verify it on Bing, I get an error message saying it won’t work as the Meta tag doesn’t appear in the header section of my site. However, I read on another site that you shouldn’t paste the Meta code into your header, as if you ever change your site’s theme it will lose it. So I’m trying to paste it into the Webmaster tools section.

    I can’t understand why it wont work for Bing and Yandex, and it worked with Google?

    Baidu was even stranger, as when I click “Get your Baidu verification code”, I get a message “Forbidden. Not allowed. You do not have the proper credential to access this page.”

    Can anyone assist please?
