Websire Redesign
-
Hello,
I am a graphic designer for two companies that previously used a freelancer who used elementor to design their website. We are in the process of redesigning our website and he gave me access to one WordPress account that uses elementor. I have done all the design work on this but he is being difficult about giving me certain permissions and access which is really slowing down our timeline and I am now culpable for this delay with my supervisors.
My question is that if I create a new elementor account is there any way to migrate the work I have already done into my account once set up or will I have to start all over?
Any input or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
Paula

Hi Paula
Your question is specific to how migration works with elementor, so I would have recommended using their forums to find more relevant help.
Regardless, I’ll try to point you in the right direction. I found these articles on the Elementor documentation that would be helpful for your case.
This guide will show you how to migrate your site using their cloud, I’m not sure if you need to be a PRO subscriber, but you can read all about it here: https://elementor.com/help/cloud-migrating-an-existing-site-to-the-cloud/
And this article will give you some options to migrate a WordPress site including the Elementor plugin. https://elementor.com/blog/site-migration/
I’m assuming you are using WordPress.org for the websites you are working on. Keep in mind this forum is for sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com (hosting) which is different from the ones with the open-source installation of WordPress.org (differences).
To use plugins on WordPress.com you’d need a Business plan or higher, and in that case, I would recommend opening a ticket so the staff can guide you on the process.Hope this helped 😉
Good luck!
