  Hi! A long time ago I had the web site abbiecopeland.wordpress.com. I deleted it and now I’m trying to get it again, and it says that the site is taken. But when I go to the address it says the author (who I’m assuming is still me) deleted it. I would really like to get it back if possible. Thanks in advance!

  If and when you or anyone else delete a .wordpress.com blog URL then you cannot register it again, and there are several warnings that clearly state that blog deletion is a permanent and irreversible act provided throughout the deletion process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
