  hi, my account website is “jessicasorentino.wordpress.com and i want my blog to be the same. however, it’s telling me that website already exists, which it doesn’t, and i’m not sure how to make it work. i don’t want it to be jsorentino; i’m trying to keep all of my accounts with a consistent username.

  It may have in the past. If it did (at any time), it is unavailable for reuse.

  That’s a really bad idea in terms of personal safety and security. It makes it too easy for ‘undesireables’ to follow you around the web. For that matter, so is using your real name.
