  I purchased my second domain keywordsinsound.com through WordPress yesterday, and I want to set up a dedicated website using this domain. So I logged in to WordPress and created a new blog keywordsinsound.wordpress.com which works fine, but when I enter keywordsinsound.com as the domain, it directs to my first website mattsakakeeny.com

  Is there any way to maintain two separate websites from my account without setting up the multisite server and all that technical stuff I cannot understand? I just want two separate websites under my single account, using the online interface, without having to use the WordPress software that I do not need for my simple website.

  Hi there!

  Custom domains are affiliated to whatever WordPress.com site you used to buy the upgrade. That’s why keywordsinsound.com is connected to mattsakakeeny.wordpress.com.

  I am more than happy to transfer the new domain to your new WordPress.com site, however!

  I’ve migrated the domain to keywordsinsound.wordpress.com for you. It should work shortly.
