Hi. I registered this site a number of days ago but have since decided to use wordpress.org to build my own website and have registered my domain http://www.corncrackerdigital.com. how can i delete this (or do i need to?) without affecting my intentions ?

Thanks Austin. The problem is the same email address is registered with both and it states if i permanently delete my wordpress site (www.corncrackerdigital.wordpress.com) then it cannot be registered with another account . I’m afraid it will affect me when i start to build my website via wordpress.org download, maybe not?

Deleting corncrackerdigital.wordpress.com will not affect your http://www.corncrackerdigital.com. Not to worry!
That message just means that you cannot use the domain corncrackerdigital.wordpress.com again on WordPress.com should you choose to return to our platform in the future.

thanks . Ive another question, youve probably guessed Im a novice ! I was following a tuitorial on how to build a website and whatever happened, my theme/plugins have been deleted and Im not sure what to do. Can i just ‘reset’ wordpress or am i better off to just uninstall it and start over? I hadnt done much.

As you no longer wish to build a site here at WordPress.com then going forward you’ll need to register an account and ask for help at the correct support forum for the software your site uses.
