  i would like to just delete the website I am designing. i have someone building a wordpress website. i would like to install that one in next couple of weeks

  You can find more info on how to delete sites here: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/

  Like the article says, it’s always a good idea to export your content first so you don’t completely lose any work.
