  How do you do a gradient background for entire page not just per section. I tried duplicate but didn’t match

  Hi there – For some themes it is possible to apply a Background color through the Customize tool. However, the are not gradient color options, only solid colors.

  As you mentioned, you can use a gradient color within the Cover Block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/cover-block/

  A few things worth mentioning that may get you closer to your goal than you realized previously.

  – You can set the Cover Block to be a minimum height (very tall if you need).

  – You can also use Column Block and Layout Grid Block within the cover block to effectively build out a home page layout over a single cover block using a color gradient of your choice.

  Both are very powerful layout tools. If you haven’t pushed on these features I’ve mentioned, I recommend trying that next.
