    Hi, I bought a domain from go daddy (gshpainting.co.uk)
    I’m after a cheap way to make a website using my own domain.

    WordPresss.com has a free plan where you can create & host your site with basic features on WordPress.com. But the domain for that free site will be like (Example.wordpress.com) i.e .wordpress.com at the end of your domain.

    If you are thinking to add your domain to the site you want to create on WordPress.com. Then, you should be under any of the paid plans that WordPress.com offers.
