I have starting using WordPress for a school assignment. and I have set it up so that you can get to all of my pages by clicking on the links on my home page. but for some reason it doesn’t let others go to my links… it takes them to the log in page. but all my settings are set to public. and my Professor has looked at it to try and fix it but he can’t finger it out either. so the next step was to get ahold of some one from wordpress

Hi there,
I noticed when I visit your site that you have added the “Menu Block” to your homepage, with the links
– Resources
– Projects
– Fitness
– Nutrition
– Blog
– About
– ContactWhen I click on the links for those, I see that it takes me to the private (admin only) link to edit those pages.
i.e. if I click on “Resources” I am taken to https://wordpress.com/page/lisawilson212721012.wordpress.com/62
In this case the public URL is this instead: https://lisawilson212721012.wordpress.com/resources/
So from what I can see when you set up your homepage links, you may not have been sure what URL to use.
To find the public URL of any page you can click on the ‘…’ icon to the left of any page listed here: https://wordpress.com/pages/
You may also wish to use the site menu system built in to your theme instead of manually creating links in the block editor, which can be accessed under the Menu tab here: https://wordpress.com/customize/
This is difficult to explain in words, so I recorded a quick video to show you how to set up a site-wide menu.
You can view the at this link: https://d.pr/v/vxuNva
In this scenario you would remove (delete) the current links you set up, and replace them with the menu that the site manages, which also happens to appear on every page on your site so it’s easy for visitors to surf around.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
