Good afternoon,

We have hosted our website through WordPress for the past 2 years however we are in the process of moving over to 123 reg but still hosting our website through WordPress it is saying when I’m trying to connect it that we need to pay for the domain however we have owned that domain for the past 12 years, can you please let me know how im able to connect it :)

Hi there,

I can see that you have used our “domain connection” option to connect your domain jobconsultancy.co.uk to your WordPress.com account.

Please note that we are not your domain registrar and you have not actually transferred your domain to us. So it is still with the original company and if you will recall, you had to add some settings to connect to us.

NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

In this case to disconnect the domain you will need to contact 123-Reg support, and ask them to remove those settings from you domain, and replace them with the domain name server (NS) addresses they recommend instead for connecting to your hosting account with them.
