  I had a website built by a friend, and I have the ‘Edits’ login and access. He is no longer available to update the website for me and I need to gain access to the website design portion. What do I need to do, I can get any access information needed from him.

  Hi there,

  Probably, your user role for website is “Editor”. So, if you want capability for site design, customize and so on, you had better ask your friend who built site to change your role to “Administrator”.
