  I would like to create a website, not a blog, however cannot find the option to do so…

  Aloha caineleri, Any WordPress.com domain can be used as either a blog or a website. The difference is more in how things are displayed than anything else. This includes things such as what theme you are using, whether you are showing posts on the front page or another page, and the type of content you share.
