  Hey, I am currently looking to change the way I have my website and blog set up. I want them to be both on one site and am looking at going through wordpress for that. I was wondering, if I get my domain name through you and later decide to leave wordpress does the domain come with me or would I need to purchase that somewhere else to ensure I have compete control over it?

  If you buy a custom domain name here then decide to use a different host you have two options.

  Keep the registration here and point the name servers to your new host

  Transfer the domain name registration to another registrar
