I don’t know much about blogging. I have Go Daddy Website Builder. I added a Blog to one of the pages. In the settings, I change the default URL to “dcrushbooks.wordpress.com”. The message is “can not locate Blog.”
However, it works when I enter this string “dcrushbooks.wordpress.com/feed/”. Any thoughts? Is adding the feed the same as just the URL?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, thanks for using the forums.
Are you wanting to tie your WordPress.com blog into your Godaddy website? Or do you simple want to create a “tab” in your Godaddy website navigation that links to your WordPress.com blog?
-
I would just like to create a tab in my website that links to my blog. Here is the link to my website http://www.dcrushbooks.com and the blog is here http://www.dcrushbooks.com/blog.html. As you can see, I have the Blog feed. I tried to add just the URL of the Blog but it would not accept the link until I added /feed/ at the end.

You are asking about a WordPress.ORG site. We can’t help with that version of the software. You need to be at their forums for support with that version of the software.

@raincoaster, he is not using a self-hosted site, it is a Godaddy website. And he wants to link the blog tab of that site to his .com site.
@dcrushbooks, I would recommend you contact Godaddy and ask them for help. We can not support their software, and this is not an issue with your blog, rather the way their software works.
Have you considered just using WordPress.com for your whole website and not using the Godaddy site builder?

I haven’t found wordpress.com all that easy so far and there doesn’t seem to be phone support, at least from what I’ve seen. My website look the way I like it so far with the exception of the blog. Adding /feed/ to the end of the blog URL seems to work but I’m not getting the entire feed. I don’t know, maybe time to switch to Blogger.com

@Chrisegg a GoDaddy website IS, in terminology, a self-hosted site. Self-hosted means not hosted at WordPress.com. His website is not hosted here. His blog http://www.dcrushbooks.com/blog.html is not a WordPress.com blog.
ALL WordPress.com instructions apply only to http://dcrushbooks.wordpress.com/, which is NOT the blog http://www.dcrushbooks.com/blog.html

@dcrushbooks, before switching to Blogger, contact Godaddy about making the blog tab in your navigation on your website a direct link to your WordPress.com blog, should be something you could do. That way you’re not pulling in feeds, but redirecting people to the actual blog.
Although, pulling in the feeds seems to be working ok.
Best of luck.
