  Hi there,

  Can you please confirm if this is a self-hosted website, or if it’s a custom domain that you’ve mapped to a WordPress.com website?

  If it’s the second one, can you please provide the URL for direct access to the wordpress.com site?

  Also, if it is the second one, did you just recently map the custom domain? As it can take some time, perhaps 24-48 hours, to populate the DNS settings that will allow your custom domain to start working.

  If this is a self-hosted site, then you’d want to access the .org forum using the link below:
  https://wordpress.org/support/

If they say this is a WordPress problem, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they likely have more experience with the type of issue you are having.

  Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites and the guidance provided here may not be relevant to DIY WordPress.org sites hosted with an external hosting provider (e.g. Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.).   @panopticfoundations sending the user to the ORG forums when you are not certain where they are hosted doesn’t really help the user* and doing a WHOIS search can answer a lot of questions. :) If you haven’t read it yet, https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-com-volunteers/ gives a lot of tips and tricks for helping out here in the community forums.
