  I am wanting to try doing my own website here before my current one expires with godaddy. Can i try it out without having to transfer my domain name or have it published as I go along? Seems like it’s wanting me to do that. If’s it too difficult for me to do on my own then i will just renew my site with godaddy. Thanks in advance for your responses.

  The free plan from WordPress.com lets you play around with features, customize your site’s look, and get a feel for things without having to pay anything up-front. You can upgrade your plan or add a custom domain or email addresses at any time from the Plans page.

  If you are looking to import content from your existing website, you may be able to upload it on your site’s Import page. (More info about that in this support doc)

  You’re logged in to this WordPress.com account where you can reach your old site https://consciouslifecoaching.wordpress.com/ You could experiment for as long as you like with that if you wish.

  Hi . . . sorry not sure how this works. I wasn’t aware I had anything published there at that wordpress address. I think that blog was from over 10 years ago when a friend and I were testing things out and exploring WordPress. When I log in, it wants me to transfer my domain name from the site with godaddy for some reason, instead of letting me explore.
