  Helllo
  I have just spent all night setting up website on wordpress.com for my new business. Its a wedding flower business and its just to advertise my business.
  Im not sure exactly how wordpress.com works. Is it possible that people will be able to google my new website lovebirdflowers.wordpress.com if i pass on the address??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Google can take several weeks to index a new blog. The more you blog, the faster it happens. So just blog regularly.

  Actually do my friends have to have a blog to be able to view my website?
  Can anyone not just enter my blog address in google and view the site??

  I mean write more posts. Logging in does nothing.

  The easiest way to show people your site is just to give them the URL, maybe by email or on Facebook. They don’t need a blog to view your site.

  You only have the one Hello World Post – make a few Posts as noted above to help your site get noticed –

  one way is to do a short article (Post) about one of your latest projects – sort of a Showcase of recent events – show the wide range of your skills from small to large – each time you make a Post your site calls up the search engines and says “new stuff stop by and take a look”

Equally important is commenting on other blogs that are similar to your blog.
