  Hello. The first thing I need to say is that I am new to WordPress! My webhost supports websites created in WordPress but your own website says I have to map my website (which I need to recreate) to WordPress. As I’ve only just joined my new webhost I don’t want to ‘move’ again! Surely I should be able to use the WordPress plug-in on my webhost’s site? Thank you.

  This is WordPress.com. Sites can be hosted here. Or you can create a site elsewhere at your unnamed webhost using the WordPress.org software. You only have to map a domain to a site here if you want a site here rather than wherever else your domain/site currently is.
