There is no domain mapping upgrade for workwitheileen.com. And, you cannot register a URL that is already registered by someone else.
workwitheileen.com is hosted by SingleHop
WHOIS
ns1.hostavenger.com
ns2.hostavenger.comIs it possible that you own the URL and the site it’s mapped to has been hacked?

When I visited wordpress , I register a domain for a blog as workwitheileen.wordpress.com which was a free blog.
After finishing with my application I was informed that workwitheileen.com is a available and I bought it for $99.00 .
It is your company that inform me that it is available, if it was not available why did your company debit my account for $99.00.
It did not start to create the site because I was working on something and I was too busy. Don’t you think that you should credit back my account for that advise that was given me. -
It seems something has gone wrong so I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there!
@leot1949 – I just looked up your account information. I do see the payment. But the domain you purchased was workwitheileenblog.com, which you can see is active for your site:
http://workwitheileenblog.com/
You can see all of your current upgrades through your dashboard at Store > My Upgrades.
Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks for straightening out that problem for me.
I tried getting in the wp-admin and there is an error showing up, stating that I do not have permission to enter that area. I sent in a request to reset my password and when I tried to access ,www.workwitheileenblog.com/wp-admin this is the message received.
You are logged in as “eileenroberts” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “workwitheileenblog”. Hi @eileenroberts!
Is the account leot1949 also yours? The domain information I provided is associated with that account. Your account has no domains associated with it and only the site workwitheileen.wordpress.com.
Does that clear things up? Let me know how I can help!

I am speaking about my domain http://www.workwitheileenblog.com.
I would like to have access to wp-admin and now it is stating that I do not have permission to that access. Early this year I work on that site and I had access to the admin area. Could you please have the problem fix instead of going back and forth.
You wrote me about http://www.workwitheileen.wordpress.com this is not the site that I am talking about. -
As you can see from the above, you are logged into the wrong account. Log out and log into the leot1949 account.

I think I am going to go crazy before I can get this problem solve.
Whenever I go to http://WWW.WORKWOTHEILEENBLOG.COM/WP-ADMIN it automatic change to http://www.workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com, so the password and username that I enter are being rejected. I am using Leot1949 and it is being rejected. I requested about six times to reset my password for workwitheileenblog.com and I do not understand why in the address bar it is changing the ending to wordpress. I do not need a pass word for wordpress at this time -

https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpasswordThe email will be sent to the address with which you registered leot1949. I am getting very frustrated with this problem that I am having with wordpress. Once again when I purchased that domain for $99.00 I did not purchased it as an Add-on. I mentioned in my previous email that it is your company that informed me that the domain was available. I had access to that domain by entering http://www.workwitheileenblog.com/wp-admin I did not have to go through wordpress.com. The header that you see on my site is the one I chose. If that is ad-on why was $99.00 taken from my account. With add-on you do not pay that kind of money. Why are you trying to tell me that I paid $99.00 for an add-on that is impossible. Why don’t you just refund me the money and this problem will be soft. I went through wordpress.com and all it have a empty information I cannot see the header that I choose for my domain before. Please give the access that I had before for my domain name workwitheileenblog.com/wp-admin. If you visit my website it do not mention anything about wordpress in the address bar.
-
I do not want wordpress added to my site because google always look at those site as free and they are completely ignored. I am wasting so much time with this problem. Your office change the setting to my profile and took off my access to my site which I find it is not fair o the customer without notifying them of the change.

Hi Eileen!
I want to clarify the difference between the domain workwitheileenblog.com and workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com. When you sign-up for a WordPress.com blog, you receive a free WordPress.com address like workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com. Then, you have the option of registering a custom domain like workwitheileenblog.com.
Even though you registered a custom domain workwitheileenblog.com, it will still be “attached” to your default WordPress.com address (workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com in this case). Think of the workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com address as your “Admin” address. You will see it whenever you’re editing pages, adding posts, uploading media, etc. However, readers will only see workwitheileenblog.com.
If you visit workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com currently, you will be redirected to workwitheileenblog.com. There isn’t a way to permanently remove workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com since it’s the admin URL for your blog. Does that help to clarify the difference?
A few more bits of clarification:
– It sounds like you have two different user accounts:
- eileenroberts with the blog workwitheileen.wordpress.com
- leot1949 with the blog workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com and the custom domain workwitheileenblog.com
Blogs are owner-specific. So, if you want to edit and write on the custom domain workwitheileenblog.com, you will need to login under the leot1949 account. Do you remember the login there?
– The addresses workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com and workwitheileenblog.com can be used interchangeably. They’re one in the same. The WordPress.com address is just your admin address. Any content you add there will be reflected at workwitheileenblog.com.
Please let me know if that helps to explain the difference a bit further! Also, let me know if you’re having trouble logging into the leot1949 account.

Hi!
how do I find the pages that I created in workwitheileenblog, com it is not in workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com.
Can you let me know the title of the page you’re referring to?
How can I reach the admin page where I can post my pages and post.I tried entering workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin and I received a message stating that I am not allow access to the admin area.
It sounds like you’re logged into the wrong account. In order to access that Dashboard and edit that blog, you’ll need to login under the “leot1949”. Can you give that a try?
COULD YOU PLEASE AND CHECK AND LET ME KNOW WHEN MY DOMAIN NAME EXPIRES, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT I KNOW.
Your domain expires on 3/4/2015.
Please try logging in under the other account and let me know if you can access your Dashboard!

Somebody I cannot get to the admin site to key in my username and password. I know that I have to use leot1949.
Why don’t you go to any computer and key in http://www.workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com and see what happens. i KNOW IT CHANGES TO WORKWITHEILEENBLOG.COM but that is not the problem that I am having. I WANT ACCESS TO THE ADMIN AREA WITH MY OLD SETTING.
When that is keyed in it goes direct to the webpage and it is not giving me a chance to key in my username and password. Try going to the site. Do I have to enter wp-admin at the end because I tried that and it is saying that I do not have permission to have access.MY BIG QUESTION IS HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES ON MY SITE WITHOUT HAVING ACCESS TO THE ADMIN AREA AND I WANT TO MAKE CHANGES ON THE SITE THAT HAVE THE HEADER THAT I CREATED. -
Hi Eileen,
It sounds like you’re still logged in at WordPress.com as eileenroberts, which does not have admin privileges on workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com. So, when you try to visit the Dashboard while logged in under eileenroberts, you’re receiving the error message.
Can you please try the following?
- Navigate to WordPress.com.
- Hover over the photo on the top right-hand side of the screen and click Sign Out as shown in the screenshot here:
- Navigate to http://www.workwitheileenblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin. You should now see a login screen.
- Login with your other credentials
That should give you access to the admin area for your blog.
Please let me know if you run into any additional trouble!
