  Hi, I previously had this website that was hosted on WPengine. We no longer have the website hosted, but would like to make changes to the website. They gave us a zip file which contains everything from the website. Is it possible to upload this zip file and make edits to the website on wordpress? Do I need to have the website hosted in order to make edits to the website? Please let me know! Thank you.

  Here on WordPress.com, you can upload the XML file that contains your site’s content:

  Import a Website

  If you’re thinking about uploading the whole site with its design and plugins, you’d need to upgrade your site to plan Business and use one of the migration plugins.
