Website Access

The organization has recently changed the website password last week. We are unable to login to the website (via the coha.org portal at the bottom of the web page) since the password has changed. We have attempted multiple times to reset the password and WordPress does not send a link an appropriate link to (email visible only to moderators and staff) to reset the password and access the website.

We are desperately seeking help to see what information or identification verification WordPress can accept to remotely reset the password to access coha.org via the website.

    Thank you.

  • Hi there,

    Are you referring to coha.org?

If so, the site coha.org appears to be a self-hosted, WordPress (also called “.org”) site.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. For more information, please see:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

However, if you have access to the server control panel through your web host, it is always possible to regain access to a self-hosted, WordPress site. This WordPress.org Codex article will walk you through the steps:
