    I am planning to start with Business Plan hosting service just because I want my previously owned domain (third party) to be plain as it is without any ‘wordpress’ in it. There is no confirmation on this when you check out.

    Hi there,

    If you have an existing domain registered some place else then you can use it for a site here on WordPress.com

    For example, if you have registered XYZ.com someplace else. And you have a site XYZ.wordpress.com

    then you can follow the instructions on this page to map XYZ.com domain to the site XYZ.wordpress.com –

    Note that you need to be on a paid plan (even a personal plan will do). Pricing on this page –

    Hello,

    Thank you for this. So if I have done this process I won’t see the “wordpress.com” with my domain?

    Also is there any samples of premium and business websites here? I would love to see how I can edit it without paying first
