  WordPress.com is still part of my address after paying for the option to have it removed. My site address displays as artbyandrewhiggins.wordpress.com rather than artbyandrewhiggins.com. I received an email confirmation that my payment was received and the money was withdrawn from my account.

  Hi there, you can control what address shows in your web browser’s address bar by setting the primary domain for your blog. To do this, go to Store > Domains in your dashboard. Select your custom domain from the list on that page, and click Update Primary Domain.
