  Hello! I finally renewed my plan with y’all. But my website name byhannahrose.com isn’t showing up. It’s going back to hannahrosebrasseur.wordpress.com. But I paid for my website name. I’m confused how to get that back up.

  Hi there,
  i can see your domain is registered with Wild West Domains, LLC and it expired on 2017-06-17. I got this information by typing your domain name byhannahrose.com here: https://www.whois.com/

  But I paid for my website name

  Kindly contact your registrar to help sort it out.

  Once this is sorted out, you can map it to your WordPress.com site if you have an active plan by following these steps: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  When volunteers can’t answer certain questions, we type modlook in the tags area for a staff reply.

  Wild West Domain is one of WordPress.com’s registration partners. So it can show in the WHOIS data if a domain is registered through WordPress.com.

  Right, I just contacted them and they told me I registered through you guys, and you are the one’s who have to allow my domain name back. There’s nothing they can do about it they said. :)

  Domain expiration is a fairly long process (more info here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/)

  Because you waited so long to renew, your domain went through the expiration and redemption process and is now unable to be renewed. The good news is that it is pending being released back into the pool of available domain names. So I would think you would be able to register it again in the next 2-3 days.

  You can purchase the domain by following these instructions:

  Register a New Domain

  Somewhat annoyingly, I’m afraid, you’ll just need to keep checking if it’s available every few days.
