Website address – help!

Hello
Years ago I set up a wordress site/domain name and didnt do a lot with it. Last week I logged on to get it back up and running, I chose a monthly payment package and typed in the web address I wanted to use (the same as before) but I got it wrong! instead of a .com address it should be a .co.uk address. Does anyone know how I can change this or fix it?!

Hello Penny,
You can’t register “.co.uk” address with WordPress.com, it is not in the list of Available Domains: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#available-domains
But you can cancel the domain that you purchased, register another domain with another registrar and then map it to your blog.

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

The forum at WordPress.ORG is not connected to WordPress.COM so you will need to open an account at .ORG if you do not already have one. You may use the same email at WordPress.ORG as you do at WordPress.COM.
