website address help?

Hey!
So my login username is also my ______.wordpress.com account I created a year ago. I think I had taken down the site, so it appears and says:
” _________ is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.”when you try to visit it, but when I try to create a new page with that name, it does not allow it.
Can anyone help me figure out what I may be doing wrong or how to get around it? I havent done more than about one post on here so I’m pretty lost and feeling clueless.
I hope this post made sense.

Hello,
Since the site was used and deleted previously, it won’t let you use it again. During the process of deletion, there are multiple warnings that it is a permanent action and cannot be used in the near future. The only exception is for blogs that were deleted two or more years ago and have no conflicts.

Thank you! Do you know if there is any way to confirm that this is what happened? I honestly don’t recall deleting my site, but it was over a year ago.

If you go to that address and it is saying it has been deleted by the author, then it is deleted. Unfortunately, since it is providing that response, it won’t be available for use just yet, or possibly ever. During deletion, you are asked to confirm a few times and actually have to type in the sites address as one of the steps for it to be deleted.
