  As above, keeps redirecting to the WordPress version, however we paid 2 days ago for domain connection for £11 to yourselves under the impression that would allow us to keep using the domain address, is this not what we paid for and is there anyway to use that domain address with the free version of wordpress?

  To set your domain as your site’s primary address, you’ll need to upgrade to our plan. On the Free plan, domains redirect to the .wordpress.com address.
