Website and account seems not to be connected.

    I need help with the domain connection I can’t log in with the right email to the wordpress.org I have a feeling that wordpress.com is connected with the wrong domain and I don’t know where I can connect the other website. Can someone get back to me so I can explain in detail ?

    Hi there,

    Can you tell us the URL of the site you’re trying to access?

    Right now you are posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We are not the same thing as the open source WordPress software.

    If you have a site built using that software at another hosting provider, it won’t appear in your WordPress.com account unless you specifically connected it here using the Jetpack plugin, and you can’t use your WordPress.com account to log into that site. To log into that site you need to use your admin account credentials that were generated when you installed WordPress on your hosting provider’s servers.

    WordPress.org is the website where the WordPress software is made. You can’t use either your WordPress.com or your site admin account details to log in there. To log into WordPress.org, you first need to register an account on that website, and a WordPress.org account is only used for posting in their forums or contributing to that software. There is no direct connection between any site using the open source WordPress software, and the WordPress.org website.
