website appearance changed by mistake

    Hi,

    I haven’t had to edit my website in quite a while, so some things seem to have changed, and I also don’t really remember how to use the editor. I’m also not sure exactly where to go to speak with someone about getting help. It’s all very overwhelming for me.

    The problem: I logged into my website as an admin to edit something on the home page. When I selected ‘Edit’ for my ‘Home’ page under the ‘Pages’ tab, it presented me with a new look to my home page that looks terrible, which I did not do. Now I don’t know how to change it back, nor do I remember how to manually fix it. What do I do?

    Hey there, could you confirm you’re working with hiddensummitacu.wordpress.com ?

    It doesn’t seem to have much content, so I’m guessing you’re referring to another site.

    Also, these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com, vs. sites using WordPress code with another host. If you’re not sure about your site, send a link, and we can point you in the right direction.
