website builder and marketing email facility

    Hello there, I am new to this site, so I have a few questions before I take the services of workdpress.com.

    I have just started a small business and need a website builder service as I am not so techno shabby.
    I also need a few email ids (as per my company domain) for all the business communication. My question is whether WordPress.com offers these services. I checked godaddy.com site, apparently it allows its business customers to send 25,000/- emails per month. So just would like to know if this is available on WordPress.com.     Hi there

    I am not familiar with other host’s offerings but on WordPress.com you can have a site with a custom address by upgrading to our Personal Plan, and then adding our Professional Email option. At the time I write this here are the costs for those

    • Personal Plan (annual billing) $48/yr
    • Professional Email $35/yr

    It’s also worth noting that we are a managed WordPress host, so unlike most traditional hosts we provide automatic updates to core software, security and brute force login protection, automated backups, and in-house support for any questions you have about our tools.

    Hosts like GoDaddy do offer WordPress as an option, but it is not the only platform they allow you to install, so the do offer “hosting support” for any server config issues you may have, but will not usually help with WordPress questions. If you are new to the platform we definitely recommend starting out here and as you gain experience with managing your site you always have the option to migrate to another host.
