I have 2 issues: 1. So i’m trying to link the privacy policy page to a link in the footer of my homepage but doesn’t take me to the privacy policy page I made when i click the link. it just brings me back to the top of the homepage. I’ve tried adjusting the permalink but the issue doesn’t change. Please help. 2. I can’t adjust the color of the text on a certain block and even though i went to styles and adjusted the color it doesn’t change on the published website.

So i’m trying to link the privacy policy page to a link in the footer of my homepage but doesn’t take me to the privacy policy page I made when i click the link. it just brings me back to the top of the homepage. I’ve tried adjusting the permalink but the issue doesn’t change.
The links in your footer for About, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy are all currently just set to the number sign/hashtag character (
#)instead of a real URL.To update those, you’ll want to go into the Site Editor at Appearance > Editor, and edit the Pages template.
Click into the Privacy Policy text and click the pencil icon to update the link. You can search for your page name and then select it to make the update, or you can copy-paste in the full URL of the page.
You’d then repeat the same process for About and Terms of Service, if you want to keep those.
I can’t adjust the color of the text on a certain block and even though i went to styles and adjusted the color it doesn’t change on the published website.
Could you please share a link to the page and show me which specific block you’re trying to change the colour of?
And are you trying to change the text or background colour on it?
