  I’ve cloned my website to a temporary staging website however my Jetpack plugin has now put my website into safe mode ‘because two Jetpack-powered sites appear to be duplicates.’

  I deleted the Jetpack plugin on my temporary staging site but the issue still exists

  Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

  Please contact Jetpack Support about this and they can help you fix the safe mode issue you’re seeing now.
