Website comparisons

    I would like to know the difference in appearance and capability of two types of WordPress websites. I’ll explain….

    I created a WordPress website (with a little IT help) for the Kincardine Yacht Club. WordPress was downloaded, the website was build as a test/develop site, then the domain name was switched over from the previous website. The website was launched on the web. Its url is http://www.kyc.ca . This platform allows plugins such as the Spider Calendar and Page Builder.

    I created another site with the WordPress free blog/website– kincardinedocclub.wordpress.com This site does not allow plugins. However, I understand one can pay to remove ‘wordpress’ from the url and pay $10.75 per month for a Premium Plan. My questions are:

    1. Would the kincardinedocclub website be transformed into the same type of website as I worked on for the creation of the website for the Kincardine Yacht Club?

    2. Would it be possible to use plugins such as Spider Calendar and Page Builder on the Premium site?
