website confusion

  Hello, I recently purchased a domain under WordPress (jacquelinelabelleyoung.com) because it was cheaper than Squarespace, but upon learning how much more difficult it was to set up the site, I decided to switch to Squarespace. I cancelled my WordPress subscription, and, I thought, deleted it. However, that is the site that pops up when I google my name, not my Squarespace site. I made the mistake of using the same web address for the Squarespace site. I can find the SP site if I type in ‘jacquelinelabelleyoung.squarespace.com’, but that isn’t practical. Can you please help me to delete the WordPress site once and for all?

  From what I can see you have canceled the domain. It’s never a good idea if you want to keep using it, even with another registrar.

  Since the domain is still in redemption, we can restore it for you and, once it’s back on your account, you’ll be able to point it to your Squarespace site:
