Website content, theme and pages ruined after trying to install Woocommerce plugin

  I tried to set up a simple 1-10 item shop with the woocommerce Plugin, and walked through the tutorial steps, but then after I tried to save my edits and temporarily publish, it ruined the entire websites content. We had a recent backup using updraft, but after I tried to complete the backup from a couple days ago, it said ‘error’ then erased all our plugin information! I am extremely concerned and can lose my job over this! I need help ASAP please.
