Website control after a death

My partner recently passed away and he hosted full websites that he had built through your site. Long was a personal site two were Club sites he hosted and one was my website now that he is passed away I need to be able to have control of the websites and to pay for that upkeep. Can you please let me know the process whereby I approve his death and take control of sites thank you. Beverley

When a WordPress.com site owner passes away we like to help the family or estate determine what happens with their loved one’s WordPress.com site. To notify WordPress.com about a deceased site owner, please email us at help@wordpress.com and include the site owner’s name or e-mail address for the account (if known), the URL/site address, a brief explanation of the situation, and the desired actIf their sites were not hosted on WordPress.com, I suggest contacting the hosting provider (company who hosts your sites) for further help.
