Website crashes when adding plugin
-
Hello,
I started using woocommerce with wordpress/bluehost roughly a year ago, and it just renewed in the past 2 months. However, I was adding a shipping plugin for Aramex, and after saving the details in the general settings through my admin dashboard, my website crashed showing an Internal 500 Server error. After disabling the plugin through Bluehost, it was still showing the error. After removing the plugin from CPanel, the website was still showing the same error, even after caching the website. I then have to restore a previous backup, which deletes any orders placed after the backup was taken, so it’s inconvenient to have to place them again manually.
This isn’t the first time the website presents an Internal Server Error 500 when I come to install a new plugin, or matter of fact when I come to edit basic things. It’s incredibly inconvenient that the website crashes with things that are so critical and things that really shouldn’t cause any troubles.
I don’t have a professional developper, I did it myself through a purchased theme and worked my way from there. ChatGPT and the usual forums have been much help when I encountered previous errors, but an Internal Server error 500 completely locks me out of my Admin dashboard, disabling me from being able to address issues easily rather than going through the CPanel and full documentation of the website itself.
My website is mojsoap.com

Jetpack: No

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host mojsoap.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions. You can learn more about the performance and security benefits of our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at your current provider. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move your site to our managed hosting in just a few clicks.
The Move to WordPress.com plugin allows you to start migrating a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com directly from the self-hosted site. Prerequisites The Move to WordPress.com plugin installed on your self-hosted WordPress site. All incompatible plugins deactivated on the self-hosted site. ✅ There is no need to create a site on WordPress.com before you get starUnfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help. Thanks!
