Website Creation Help

    Hello,
    I have a wordpress.org site and did not know the difference from wordpress.com. Just went off of a blog’s recommendation. It is overwhelming and way too complicated for me and I believe that I am wanting to transfer it from .org to .com for the ease and simplicity. Is that what I should do?
    Open to suggestions.

    Hi there!

    To see how it feels first, I’d suggest creating a free website on WordPress.com (skip the plan purchase and choose a free address that ends with .wordpress.com).
    If you like the experience here more, then you can go ahead and move your site over. We have instructions on that here:

    If you’ve just registered your domain, you may need to wait 60 days to transfer it, but you can connect it to your WordPress.com site and use it immediately. Just bear in mind that for that you would already need one of our paid plans:

    https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/.
