Website credentials needed

    I am trying to update the php and then our WordPress version following a malware attack (Viagra!) which has been cleaned up by GoDaddy. We are all volunteers and the folks who set us up are long gone.
    In the process our treasurer purchased their product Managed WordPress but I can’t set it up without the site’s username and password (not mine as Administrator).
    How do I retrieve them?

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, so we cannot help with this. The password for that site has no connection to your WordPress.com account, but is stored in your site’s database on your hosting provider’s servers. We don’t have any access there to help you reset it.
