  If I will delete everything (melodistanz.wordpress.com) so that I can start from scratch, will the melodistanz name still be available?

  You will not be able to reuse the address however, you can simply reset the st=ite and start over.

  Hi there,

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

  However, if you want to keep your domain name, instead of deleting your site permanently, you can delete its content (media, pages, posts etc.). This will keep your domain name and theme, but delete everything else. This option is directly above the Delete your site permanently option (My Site > Manage > Settings), called Delete your content.
