Website designer had sudden heart attack. How do I access my site?

I was in the process of having my website built by a man who suddenly had a heart attack. I have the link to the website- I believe he was building it off his own site and was then going to transfer it to my own domain name. What do I do? How do I access it?

Just an FYI, WordPress.com is a place to host WordPress sites, so we can’t help you with sites not hosted here.
Do you know what company the developer was using for hosting? I’d start by contacting them, though there’s little they might be able to do for you.
