Website Designer Question

    Hi!

    I am a website designer and I want to create multiple websites at a time for different clients. Is there a way for me to start editing a design before purchasing the website immediately? I don’t like to charge my clients up front nor do I want to pay until they are liking what they are seeing.

    Hi there, is this still relevant?

    Effectively, you could customize an existing, free WordPress.com theme or design a new block theme with the Design Your Own Theme feature, but if you want to make Style or CSS changes to that theme, you’d need to upgrade the site. Here’s a comparison chart of the different WordPress.com upgrade plans

    For Style/CSS changes, it would require either the Explorer plan or the CSS Add-On. Full plans, can be paid monthly or annually, while the CSS Add-On is an annual upgrade. If you go for the full plan, you do not need the Add-On as well. More information about Add-Ons.
