  Hi, I have a website http://www.themandalapreston.com and want to rebuild it in wordpress. What is the best way of me going about this? I of course don’t want to transfer straight away. Also is it possible for me to add a different domain to point to this one (for example prestonyoga.com?

  Hi there,

  Is your existing site built in WordPress or another major platform as well? You can see here a list of the platforms we are able to import content from, so you would not need to start over from scratch: https://wordpress.com/support/import/

  If you wish, you can get set up with a replacement site here in private (using the WordPress.com URL we assign all sites when they are created) and then add a custom domain when you are ready to launch.

  You can either move your themandalapreston.com over to your WordPress.com site, to replace your old site with the new one you have here. You can also use a different address here, and redirect themandalapreston.com to the new site address.
