  I currently have a website but interested in developing in with WordPress. Can I do this without interrupting my current site?

  Hi there,

  Sure, can do. First, you need a separate space to build your WordPress site. You can follow this guidelines to get the idea. https://wordpress.com/support/tutorials/five-step-website-setup/. I suggest you going free first by choosing a site address under WordPress.com. After you’re finish tinkering and developing your new site, you can then point your old domain name to WordPress.com hosting service.

  Please note that after you pointed your domain to your new WP site, your old site won’t be accessible under that domain name anymore.
