Website disappeared

  Today I linked my WordPress blog to my Facebook account, which is working great. However, my website, http://www.lindseytownsend.com, which I have had for 10 years at Earthlink, has now disappeared.

  Ideally I would like to have my website back as a standalone resource that I can use to migrate content over to my new wordpress blog. I am new to all this so any help is much appreciated!

  Not a WordPress.COM issue – but it looks like you did not pay the bill for the domain registration – your name is in Redemption, you need to contact the original registrar quickly while you can still renew before a domain squatter grabs your old domain.

  @auxclasss, a whois through network solutions says the domain name is good through 2012.

  Created on…………..: 2009-11-06
  Expires on…………..: 2012-03-29

  Where were you looking?

  I would contact Earthlink immediately. Your domain name is still pointing at earthlink so there must be some issue on their end.

  Morning @TSP – the link I used is below – it does show 2012 as you noted (I did not read the extra line) – but it also shows the domain in redemption status – so I am now really confused – but your contact Earthlink is good advice – off to bed – long day tomorrow fairing the cockpit sole and with some luck first coat of primer.
