Website Disappeared

  Hi,

  Somehow my website has disappeared after I got a new domain and a website hosting. I am not sure if this happened because I used Import/Export under tools or what is going on. My site pages and posts still exist in my dashboard but the website just says “coming soon now…” Should I be worried or is this just a temporary thing as the site gets set up?

  I see that you have purchased Domain Mapping for shewell.co. But shewell.co does not appear to be a registered domain anywhere. Domain Mapping is the upgrade that you would purchase if you had a domain registered elsewhere and wanted to use it with your WordPress.com site (instead of the standard _______.wordpress.com URL).

  Hi,

  I wanted to take my current wordpress.com site and give it a new domain, but I got super confused. Could you give me some guidance on how to change my current site shewellliving.wordpress.com and give it the domain name shewell.co which I just bought?

  I have reset your WordPress.com Premium free domain credit so we can give this another try.

  To add a domain, simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, click “register a new domain name”, enter shewell.co in the box and click the “go” button. Then just follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.

  Let me know if you have any trouble.

  Hi, so I tried that. When I type in shewell.co into my address bar it just comes up as shewellliving.wordpress.com. Then when I set shewell.co as my primary domain, the website appears blank. Any help would be awesome!

  Auxclass has spoken true. It can take a bit for nameservers to update across the internet.

  However, in the world of good news, I am seeing http://shewell.co/ point correctly to your WordPress.com site.
